Had the worst experience there today. Car was still on the lift 'waiting on parts' at 630pm when it was clearly stated that I needed the car back today regardless of state inspection repair needs. Was not told there car wasn't going to be worked on until I showed up at 30 minutes before closing. Extremely frustrating! Front desk help apologized for 'misunderstanding' while acknowledging i stated the car was needed regardless for work purposes Tuesday morning, which still confuses me. I have spent thousands of dollars at this place over many cars due to the close proximity (i can drop a car off and walk home). While the timeliness is hit or miss, they do finish the job, except for today. I was the 'first' person in line for the inspection today but it wasn't until 1231 that they called with some needed work since having the car since last Thursday. Instead of performing 3 of the repairs while waiting on parts they did nothing. Note to people that look at these reviews, check all your lights prior to an inspection. I had 1 plate light out and 1 right side marker light out.. $11 per bulb and $53.70 labor each ($129.40 to replace 2 bulbs). After all the frustration the desk worker said 'it will be $20'. I was like you are still charging me? He said 'well he did the inspection' which I totally agree with, but these guys have on a number of times knock off a hundred dollars here and there for whatever reason... if there was a time I thought 20 bucks would be knock off it was today, but I do get it, a service was provided and I paid because thats what adults do. All that said, name on the ticket states Alfred Lawson is the store manager, I would love to talk to you about this. As of now, would I recommend this place? No. Would i return as a costumer? Tire choice is my number 1 go to for state inspections for my vehicle. The drop off service is convenient for me and the turnaround is fairly quick. If the mechanic finds an issue, they will do a courtesy call to explain, in detail, the issue and provide an estimate of cost. They also have great flexible payment options.
