I have been going to tire choice for all my car services since 2022 when I first moved to sumter. I have always appreciate their service because they know how to take care of both cars and their customers but the recent incident has turned me off. My car was producing weird sound. I took it to tire choice to get it checked. They inspected it and told me that I need to get a new alternator. I bought the part and took the car for the alternator replacement. Immediately they started working on it, the mechanic came back saying that the alternator doesn't need to be replaced, instead I need to get a water pump. He took me to autozone to return the alternator and get a water pump. It was late, so they couldn't finish replacing the water pump. I had to leave the car at the shop for them to work on it the following day. I call the office the following day on 6 May to check on the status. They told me it was all done and I got my car after work. On Wednesday, 7 May, i noticed my AC wasn't working. Mark you, have never had any issue with my AC. The AC was working perfectly before I took the car in for inspection and repairs. Immediately, I called the office to let them know. They ask if I could bring the car in which i did the same day after work. Upon inspection, I was told I need a new compressor. I bought the compressor and took the car back for part replacement. During compressor replacement the tech noticed that my old compressor had 3 bolts instead of the usual 4 and a leak that was never there. The compressor itself wasn't able to get my AC system to work. Now, my entire AC system is broken and need to replace like 3 more parts. It's been 2 weeks since I last drove the car. I'm left with the expenses of repairing AC that was never the problem from the beginning because of someone's negligent. I have spend over $700 and the AC is still not working. I need to file a complain. Tire choice has been so good but this time around it's a total disappointment....
