Last year my car had a service warning that my battery was low. The next day that warning was gone. Thinking the sudden frigid weather had something to do with it, I took my car to Tire Choice in South Euclid to make sure my car was fine. I needed an oil change anyhow. The manger very briefly showed me printed results of the battery test and said it needed to be replaced, so I said OK. He did NOT include a copy of this battery test with the rest of the inspection results that came with my invoice. He also said my 2 front tires were worn and that I should return soon for brake fluid corrosion. This year, an honest garage owner told me that my tires and brake fluid did NOT need replacement. The real kicker? I checked my records, found the original battery receipt, and saw it was guaranteed for 36 months. Yes, I could have had the battery replaced at no charge. Since he didn't give me a copy of the battery results, I suspect it might not even have been mine. He is the reason why people hate taking their car in for work and maintenance. That was $250 out the window!....

I am not happy with my experience. When I went to pick up my car, which had a new starter installed, it did not start. Mechanic told me he had to jump the battery in order to start the car after he installed the new starter. instead of replacing the new starter, he blamed the problem on my brand new battery, and tried various means to get the car started. Eventually, he sent me to another Mr. Tire, and they told me that the installed starter was defective. I am now in the process of trying to get the defective starter replaced. I will see if the company starts behind their warranty.....
