Community Warning / Request for Information I want to share my experience with Tire Choice Auto Service Centers (Store #0212) in Marysville, Ohio, and ask if anyone else has had a similar situation. On February 20, 2026, I brought my car there for a routine oil change. The manager, Michael, drove the car into the service bay and completed the oil change. At that time there were no warning lights on my dashboard. When the vehicle was returned to me and I started it in their parking lot, a ?Low Engine Oil Pressure? warning light immediately appeared. I asked the manager to sit in the vehicle and look at the dashboard, and he saw the warning light himself. Instead of inspecting the vehicle immediately, I was told to schedule another appointment for the following day. Because the issue appeared right after their service, I refused to leave until the problem was addressed. I was then told I needed to leave the property or the police would be called. Before leaving, I took a photo of the warning light on the dashboard. After driving home, the engine began making severe noise. When we inspected the vehicle, we discovered oil on the skid plates and the engine had already sustained major damage. Later that evening around 8:00 PM, the manager came to our private property attempting to explain that the oil filter might have been defective. Because of the situation, Union County Sheriff?s deputies were called and responded to our home. The engine in our vehicle is now destroyed. I obtained an estimate from **Marysville Ford confirming that the engine requires replacement. A claim has been filed with the business?s insurer, Travelers Insurance, and the matter is currently being disputed. Because of the significant financial loss, the issue is also being addressed legally. If anyone else has experienced engine damage, oil service issues, or similar problems after service at this location, I would appreciate hearing about your experience. It may be important for others in the community to be aware and to compare situations. Please feel free to comment or contact me privately.....
