I had a very concerning and disappointing encounter at store #1269 on 01/19/2026. I will be cancelling my Monro credit card and never using Tire Choice ever again. My car was leaking oil over the weekend. Since I had the oil changed 2 months ago (11/21/2025) at this Tire Choice and it seemed logical that the oil leak was related to the most recent oil change, I made an appointment and dropped my vehicle off around 8am on 01/19/2026. I reiterated that the oil was recently changed there and that it had obviously been very slowly leaking since that oil change. They never contacted me at all. I had to call them around 1:40pm because it was obvious they hadn't even looked at my vehicle. I said I would pick the van up and the woman answering the phone said she would call me right back. She called back at 2:01pm and said they would get the van looked at that day. She then called me back at 2:59PM, told me 4 different components were leaking oil (the turbo and three different gaskets). She said one gasket was not even available for my vehicle. She had no estimate of service, no cost estimate, and no time estimate. She basically had no other information to impart other than to say would take a long time and A LOT of money. I said I would be picking the van up immediately. When I arrived, no one was at the front desk for at least 5 minutes. She eventually walked in the front door, again said the van would take several days to fix and it would be A LOT of money. I took my key and left. I drove immediately to Ice Cold Air about 3 miles away. Tire Choice used to have Anthony manning the front desk and making everything right. Anthony quit to work for Ice Cold Air and is now much higher up in their management chain. I trusted Anthony when he worked for Tire Choice, so Ice Cold Air was where I went when I needed answers. Turns out, the oil filter was loose, causing the oil leak. Well, well, well, so I was right? Tire Choice, you should be ashamed of yourself. I spent $98.29 on that oil change at your establishment. Great shop. People were helpful and friendly. Kept it straight up with me too. Bailey and Gabriel were the ones who assisted me in the process. Took care of my issues and were honest in the process.
