On the 21st, I brought my vehicle to this auto repair shop after a red battery warning light appeared on the dashboard. This occurred after I accidentally reversed the battery polarity while replacing the battery. The shop diagnosed the issue as a failed alternator and replaced it with a refurbished alternator supplied by them. Later that same day, after approximately 30?40 minutes of driving, the vehicle completely shut down. I was forced to call a tow truck at my own expense. Around 7:45 p.m., after business hours, I returned the vehicle to the shop and left it there overnight. The following day, the shop informed me that the alternator was not the issue and claimed the battery was faulty. I explained that the battery was brand new and had been installed only two days earlier. Despite this, they continued to insist the battery was the problem. I then returned to the battery retailer, where the battery was tested and confirmed to be in good working condition. After that, I contacted my own independent mechanic. He jump-started and charged the battery, allowing the vehicle to run, and I brought the car to his location. After two days of diagnostics, he confirmed that the refurbished alternator installed by the original shop was defective and was not charging the battery properly. He also identified a battery fuse strip issue Due to the faulty alternator, the battery was not being charged , which caused the vehicle to shut down. I then returned to the original repair shop and spoke with the manager, also I brought back their defective alternator , left it on the floor and requested a refund, explaining that they had installed a defective alternator, my vehicle broke down as a result, and I paid extra 100 $ for tow truck. The manager offered me a new alternator instead. I declined and requested a full refund, because I had already returned to the shop for the same issue a second time, and they had misdiagnosed the problem as the battery. They charged me 1235 $ .Avoid this car shop , be careful....
