The communication was a bit broken. I brought the car for new tires, work on the brakes, and some critical work and I requested for an estimate before any work needs to be done. I did not receive any follow-up call but two days later, I was told that the car was ready for pick up. I was surprised because I was waiting for an estimate. I asked what was done, and I was told that the new tires were installed and they did the oil change that I also requested and the brakes. I asked what about the other work? And the person was surprised and she told me that it showed that I declined the other work. I said, absolutely not because I have not received any phone calls. She apologized and sent me a new quote with the rest of the work they recommended and I approved to proceed. A day after that, I received another call saying that my car is ready again, which I was once again surprised because I was expecting that it will take some time to order the parts and install, so I asked the guy on the other end if they did the rest of the work because I just approved it the day prior. He seemed surprised and it seems that there was no note on his note that I approved to proceed with the remainder of the work that they recommended. The car was actually ready after two weeks. It looked like power steering fluid was spilled around the reservoir when attempting to refill and it was not cleaned. Otherwise, I am satisfied with the work they did. I have not experienced any noises that I reported and the car was riding better.
